Bassmaster Classic 2010

We'd kind of hijacked the other thread about the Classic by making plans to attend, so I thought I'd start a new one. And since I "own" this thread, I can talk about anything I please.

Bubba, are you still thinking about going, and how serious are you about it? I've got the OK from my better half, and so has Bama. It's maybe 4 hours from here to the Expo in Birmingham, which is also where the weigh-ins happen. It's another maybe 30-45 minutes south to the launch on Lay Lake, if we want to watch blast-off at 7 a.m.

The schedule for the Expo is
Friday, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. CT
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. CT
Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. CT

If we drive over Saturday, we might could go both days, Saturday and Sunday. Maybe catch the weigh-in Saturday at 3 p.m. if we leave early enough, but I wouldn't count on it. Might could make it Sunday at 3:30 p.m., if we can get a spot before the crowd gets out of hand.

So, Bubba, what say you? Meet somewhere in Meridian on Saturday like you suggested and carpool over?
