Default Male or Female

How can you make sure if a bass is male or female? the reason i ask is because i thought that it was the pink on the bottom was a female but then i saw a couple of pros say it was a male when it had it

Females are bigger, but otherwise it takes a biologist to determine if it is male or female.

females usually will have a variety of credit cards, lip gloss, and other
items for the "women type needs"..a male will usually have a slight odor of burittos and lite beer

You will also find that female bass will get together in small groups and talk about other female and male bass in the area.

Does that mean males are more aggressive in the long run then?

there really is no way to tell buy lookin at them.. rule of thumb though is most males do not get bigger than 3 pounds.. catch a 7-8 pounder odds are it is a female..

I always just pick them up and shake them. If you hear their nutz rattlin, they are males. Easy enough, right?

I usually quiz them on NFL or College Football or if they can tell me what ESPN stands for.... if they know their stuff they are most likely male!

It has been disputed on this site, but I still say that the male has a bigger head than a female.
If you disagree with me then thats fine. I still need proof.
