they changed the name from chevy duty to Classic Parts of America .. found that out by search, thanks for the h/u though

if ya wanna buy it and next time i'm goin through bama, i'll pick it up.. and buy it from ya.. haha i really dont it it but for parts, if he wants to send me a hood for cheep i'd take it

mines a 63 long skinny box..
I just applied for a catalog from CPA..
anyway, keep checking up on the page 4 of that site, or this thread, i'll start pasting my updates here too [ the updates go 3 diff places now ]

That site is cheeper than LMC too so i'll re-adjust my stock parts to their prices, using LMC and RPS and now CPA is sitting at 258 for parts [including gastank] and 186 for metal, and i've gotta fab some panels

haha well my moms dad bought the truck in 1980, from a guy who bought it from the dealer new.. and he gave it to my moms brother, he moved to Minnesota and gave it to my mom and she gave it to my dad and hes pretty much given it to me.. Its a good truck because my grandpa pulled his 39 foot camper 2 hours at 70 mph with it.. its got trailer brakes, and a reese hitch so it'd be going on this chassis lol

Heres what i started with on the collum shift,

now heres what i have now

heres the electric gauge setup,

And heres my painted cluster

My carb, all painted

And air cleaner all primed up. I've yet to strip the bottom half of the air cleaner.

my dad did this portion of the painting while i was shooting skeet so idk what his plans are for it.
The only thing i have done thats not pictured, is the bezel for the whole gauge cluster unit is now black

I hve a 95 Ram, but since I am planning on keeping it forever I've been contemplating modding it a little. I like the classic trucks too, so I am thinking of doing a wood bed in it like the old ones for the hell of it. Also tacked a hood ornament up on the front just for fun.

i wanna put a wood bed in mine, but then again.. an oak kits like 600 bucks..

a pine kits like 300... or i could pay 100 for the strips and bolts, then just buy my own wood, sand it, thomson wood seal it , polyurathane it, then put it in.. but that'd take a while

hey pal.. i used pressure treated wood for mine, coated it with thompsons and it looked great. won't EVER rot away. oak is $$$$$. and regular pine is easy to ruin. think about treated. i have a lot of books, would have to dig em out of the closet, but i'll try to for ya ifn ya want me to. there are a few (3) different withs on the floor strips ok? you'll have to rip a few, but it'll look great and ya did it yerself.

Yeah I'm gonna use treated wood for mine. I've seen some beds with the special wood strips that couldnt handle the weather, so I might go a little thicker - like 2x6s or something and figure out how to bracket them together with the stainless strips. Actually, I'm also thinking of making a tonneu cover doing that instead of a bed - one way or another I'm gonna have some wood in the back. The truck was the last thing my grandfather gave to me and he was real big in woodworking so I figure it will be sorta fitting.

iused just old regular ol pressure treated 1 by 6's and 1 by 4's. it is thick enough. you have to rip 3 of the 1 by 6's i think. cause there are 3 different withs to put in.
i'll try to find them books for ya. may tqke awhile, they are stored in the way back room way back in the office closet.....i think, lol.
i'll try to find em for real buddy.

Mr Photo, there is a link to my mustang's page somewhere on one of the pages of the Camaro's. You'll just have to find it. I haven't been on cardomain in forever, so I don't remember where is it.
