Default It was pretty disgusting

So i went out to my lunch break spot today.Starting working a trap around the rocky ledge...Wanted to go deeper,so I let the trap sink to the bottom and started reeling...BAM!..I got hung up!...But the structure was loose...heavy,but loose...So I put down the rod and grab the line.Start pulling expecting to see limbs surface, but instead its a big black mass....Im thinking ''Great ,more fing trash!'' ...But as it got closer I realized that this ''trash'' had organs and a ribcage......
I just pulled in a partly decomposed raccoon..........Awesome!
Have you ever seen that movie ''Akira''...Thats what it looked liked only more fur......And buried in this lump of decomp awesomeness was my Rat'l Trap.
Im pacing thinking:
''Do I cut the line or dig it out?'
''Do I cut the line or dig it out?'
''Do I cut the line or dig it out?'

I finally looked down my pants.......(10 minutes later)...yep!.....Im a man!

I dug it out...no sticks,no rocks....barefisted that thing like I was paying it for sex......got my lure!

Now my hand is soaking in hand sanitizer..

I miss my raccoon

and yea,I used a stick........but I had to smell it and that counts as being tough!

Good for you. No need to waste a trap on a dead raccoon.

Where is Bryce? I haven't called him a puss lately, but I am sure I will have due justice when he reads this. That is funny stiff walker. First thing I though when I saw ribcage was you have found Hoffa or something.

Kinda gross, but for some reason dead critters dont bother me much.

When I was in 8th grade, and living in Bradenton, FL...my friends and I came upon a dead heron on the outskirts of our subdivision. I ended up chasing the other guys around with one of the legs. The tendons were sticking out of the end, and you could "grab" stuff with the claws if you pulled the tendons.

However, the dozen bait crabs that got left in my tackle box for 3 weeks really grossed me out. 3 years later, that tackle box still stunk of rotten crab.

Just like bubba I thought the same. I quit hunting cause I don't enjoy gutting animals. Funny thing is I am a meat cutter. It couldn't of smelled worse then bad chicken.

He was a little shy at first...After some heavy petting and some Ritz cracker he became more personable
