Default Baitcasting combo

I want to get a new baitcasting combo (under $100) from bass pro shops but I don't know which to get. If you have any suggestions or on what to buy let me know.

i realize these are more than you wanted to spend, but the quality is a ton better and just for a few more bucks.

I'd try to get as close to your limit as possible. This may not apply for some things, but when it comes to fishing rods/reels: You get what you pay for.

Definitely save up as much as you can and go for the best! Like Joolz says, when it comes to rods and reels it good to spend $200 the first time rather than spend $120 three times!

LL, not everyone has a ton of money to spend on fishing tackle. I know I sure don't. And if I did I wouldn't for long cause I'd spend it all on fishing tackle.

Anyway's I started out on a $120 combo and it's worked perfectly for me. infact I'm changing the line and making it my topwater combo this year. (I just wish it was about a foot shorter.

I'm thinking about one of these two. I saw the one at Cabela's a few days ago while I was picking up an order there. I'm leaning toward the one from bps but I can't decide.

went to bass pro today and seen the extreme combo. it felt like a solid reel on a pretty descent rod.
