Was curious why....
Forget it. Found the post on Bama getting beat. Was going to have a little fun but no need to rub it in.
Tried to delete the post but couldn't. Move along. Nothing to see here.... |

Louisiana was first 15 states all told wanting to succeed from the union, some north of the mason dixon line, surprisingly two that voted for bama, maybe now still shoveling mud up realize their mistake.
States following this action include: Louisiana, Texas, Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Colorado, Oregon and New York. These States have requested that the Obama Administration grant a peaceful withdrawal from the United States. Reelection promise wont do anything about guns, upon reelection resumes talks upon on UN resolutions or sanctions. More 223 ammo has been sold in the last week than previous two months. |

There have been widespread calls to secede from the Union in several states following Obama's re-election.
It will go nowhere. To secede is almost an impossibility given the current political climate. As a native southerner, I understand the attraction and wish, like nullification, it were more than a theoretical possibility. But such movements take consensus greater than present in even the reddest of the red states, not to mention the thorny issue of the feds letting a state go (remember that little war that happened in the mid 19th century) Despite it all, I have more hope and optimism today for the future than I have ever had in regards to politics. Such brutal losses are where positive changes come from. If the GOP embraces a common sense liberty platform, it will be unbeatable by any leftist coalition. We had to lose these past 2 to show people that the Reagan coalition would never come back. Now, if we kick out the neo-cons and the coercive morality police, we will grow as a party in ways thought unimaginable.

When you jump from a post about SEC football straight to rumblings of "The South will rise again," hell yeah, you're hard to follow.
