Default advice for another boat with soft floor

I also own a small 16 ft dawson bass boat 1982 this spring I noticed a soft spot about 2 ft by 2 ft right under the drivers feet and to the left of the cockpit how hard would this be to fix. or how expensive would this be to get fixed and where would I look to get this fixed

HVAChris,

If it's just the plywood floor that's going bad it's basically just ripping up the carpet and replacing the plywood and carpet. If your boats like the one I'm working on the stringers may be going bad as well. If this is the case it's going to be much more involved. I've been following some of the repairs these guys have been doing. This will give you a good idea of what it will take to fix your boat and do it right.
