Default need help with rod repair

hey guys, took out my avocet today getting ready to go fishing. it is a two peice rod. when i took it out, the bottom halfs end that goes into the tp half was broken. it was kind of puffed out, cracked. the other half wouldnt fit over it. what should i do?

because it wont even fit. if it did then yeah sure. the top one, the empty one cant fit over it.

man thats why I avoid two piece rods..too much stuff goes wrong. See if you can squeeze the bottom half together at all, enough to get the top half over it.

I would take the rod back to where ya bought it or send it to the factory for a replacement. Something has gone awry there. A loose ferell will only result in a rod that breaks upon hookset.
