I hang up as soon as I realize its one, but the funniest thing that comes to
mind is the Seinfeld show when jerry asks the telemarketer if he can call him back, the guy says no, then Seinfeld goes "now you know how I feel" lol
we get telemarketers on the cell phone and also on the fax machines at work.

I keep a dog training whistle on my desk. Whenever I get a telemarketer call I blow the whistle as hard as I can in the receiver and then hang up.
They will probably put me on thier "do not call list"

Screw the whistle- opt for the Airhorn. Or ask them for their home phone #. When they ask why tell them "I want to bug the s!@# out of you at dinner time."

Yes I do remember what Jerry said!

Any way, I'm just wondering why telemarketing is still going stronger and stronger since every body believes telemarket is stupid, and hangs up ASAP. just as you did.

If you ask some MBAs, they will tell you that the Telemarket as well as junk mail is the most effective way of marketing.

Hard to tell.
