Default Fishing The Lagoon

I am going to fish the Lagoon today (august 15, 2006) at 6:00pm-8:30pm
And was wondering if you could help me catch more bass and I will see if your advice works-.

Hmmmm.... I am new to bass fishing and this forum too. But if I get to as many posts as you have made, and I still don't know how to catch em', then I'm outta here.

ON TOPIC: Spinner baits and swimmin' minnow lures w/prizms always work for me. Try yellow spinner baits with hints of red.

Well Jr, if you want some help, then we need more info, size, water clarity, cover, structure etc... Some of the Texan's on here would be better suited to help you. A Lagoon to me means salt water, but that's just me.

so have you hit any Salt Water Lagoons in your part of the state yet? The only fishing I've done in St. Aug. is on US 1 just north of 207. Only thing I caught was a gator, was hoping to hook into a red. my gf's apartment is in the historic area I can walk 2 blocks east hit water, been thinking about taking one of my heavier setup rigs and fishing just north of the bridge of lions (think thats what its called), chumming the water with some blood and using chickens or something to catch some sharks. of course I'll have to add a leader to this power pro. I'm sure city officials would love me catching a 6ft shark right there and having all the tourists see, lol.

The skipper always has good luck fishing in the lagoon with a fly tied from lock of Gingers hair and thread from Gilligans hat.... Hey Joolz does this count as padding my post count?
