Default Crankbait ID

Hey guys,

This is my first post here. My reason for posting is this little crankbait. I have no idea who made it, or where I could get another one like it. There are no markings on it, and while it is similar to some I have seen from japan, it remains a mystery. In fact all I do know about it is that is catches bass like crazy. They can't stand the thing!

I did not buy it. It was actually a snag at the river when I was fishing for redfish. I pulled it up along with a mass of rotting braid and mono line. I almost tossed it in the trash, but decided to just throw it in my box. I had to replace the hooks, as the ones on it were rusted and had no points. It was pretty ugly actually, all dirty and crusted. It just sorta sat in my box for over a year until last week when I finally cleaned it up and put the hooks I took off of a Daiwa Peanut II on it. The original hooks were smaller, and brass. The original ones were the standard Rapala Minnow size.

Any help to find the brand, or an ID would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

After posting this I was inspired to give it another shot tracking it down. I believe I have found it. The company is Chinese, and the lures don't seem to be available anywhere. I have no idea how this one got here. probably in a no name discount bin in a big box store. I am kinda bummed about this. If I lose this little guy I don't see how I will replace him easily.

The company is called Xinhe , and the only name they give for the lure is RHB series. Here is a link to the page .

Oh well, I'm going fishing now.

**DISCLAIMER**

I am not affiliated with Xinhe in anyway. I am only posting this link to show that the lure in my picture is the one displayed on that page. I do not endorse this company or their products.

Hmm... doesn't look look like exactly. The head shape is different. I'm not sure what it is though, good luck finding what it is though!

That might be because I put up the wrong link.

Here is the right one...

As far as luck goes; It was not on my side. After all I said to extol the virtues of this lure I only managed one bluegill. He is a pretty one, but still. I only got one bass, but that was on my Peanut.

I have no idea but it is a good looking plug. I wouldn't mind having a few.

I'd like to have a few more too. Especially in the darker colors. The bass around here love dark colors...

Welcome to the place to be, John. Since you can't seem to find a way to get any more of these, you might wanna check out the Spro Fat Crank 20.
Looks kinda similar

Well here I am on my original post. Exactly one month to the day I posted this I found the actual manufacturer of this lure. It is a Creme Shallow Crank. I believe it was originally quite a bit darker than it is now. Who knows how long it sat there in three feet of water, but the hooks were nearly gone when I pulled it up. This is great news! I can actually get more...

I am going to order three of them after I get paid. The Chart, the Clown, and the Block Back. oh heck, I might just get all five colors.

Creme Shallow Cranks!
