College Football -- Who's in your Top 5?

Here's what mine looks like right now:

1 - Alabama
2 - LSU
3 - Wisconsin
4 - Oklahoma
5 - Stanford

Looking forward to OU-Texas, Florida-LSU and Auburn-Arkansas match-ups this weekend.

I like seeing OSU lose a couple of games, but I hope they go into Lincoln and somehow knock off the Cornhuskers. I'd love to see NE get welcomed to the Big 10 with a bunch of conference losses this year!

Yeah, I suppose I should be giving Clemson more credit at this point, but I'm just not a believer yet, although I'm not really sure why not. I expect them to lose a game before they play Ga Tech at the end of October, but I guess only time will tell.

Like it to be 1. LSU, 2. Alabama, 3. Wisconsin, 4. Oklahoma, 5. Stanford but wouldn't swear to it till after the LSU-Alabama Game

ok,ok,ok........her is MY HONEST OPION gang.

#1 of course is ALABAMA

, reason is the DEFENSE is a killer, offense CAN make mistakes still at the qb spot.
#2 LSU...they are fast, strong and can score QUICK. BUT..they are now having a 2 qb system going on. could be trouble

. their defense has some holes in the line. if richardson stays healthy.he'll run over and through them.

#3 oklahoma... great team, but lacking in speed in the key areas i think. defense especially. linebackers look slow to me compared to lsu and bama.

#4clemson..SO FAR

. reason is they got some speed too. can score quickly and a stingy defense to boot.
#5 wisconson..big,strong.5 yards and a cloud of dust is awesum, but not a national championship in this day. sorry. defense is really good.

if oyu read my comments you get the idea of DEFENSE. defense wins chami[pionships folks. spurrier showed that in the yrs he coached at florida. doesn't matter how much you score, if the other team scores more thye win.

For the real college football fans out there I've got
1) UConn
2) Maryland (very close to taking the #1 ranking)
3) Akron
4) New Mexico
5) North Carolina over Creighton (both 8-1)

#1 Bama. Great Defense and running game.
#2 LSU. Good team, can't wait till we play them.
#3 Oklahoma. Another good team with allot of talent.
#4 Wisconsin. Very high scoring team, havnt watch a game yet, but I hear there line has flaws.

p.s. It sucks living in Wisconsin where everyone thinks the Skunks would stomp Bama.

They're good, but not as good as bama.
