No wonder he only catches dinks, if it gets over 8 or 10 oz the reel breaks.

hahahaha..........i was gonna send oyu a thank you text or pm ron for the picture.


folks, ron sent this picture to me the other day. which tells me HE is replaceing ALL his reels with reels that have ALABAMA on htem. seems he wants ot go with a winner. lol!

thanks for real ron. although i don't have a reel like this, anyone who wants to can send me one for christmas. i will put it on the shelf for veiwing along with my other BAMA stuff. hehehehe.

Does any body use Ardent reels, are they worth trying?

Weired 2 fish fish seems to have took a liking to them!

They've revamped there line completely with the Edge series of baitcasters which feature drag tracking tech.. They look promising to me.

But the old ones seem to be iffy from what I've read. Some where great, others not so much. Seemed like you got allot of "lemons." Seach Google and you tube and you'll find some good stuff.

I also got to use an C400 for a short time and really liked it. Certainly smooth well casting reel.
