where to find them?
could anyone please help out, where i would have good success fising on this reservoir. its in northern virginia , called beaverdam creek reservoir. i have heard there are lots of largemouths, limited numbers of smallmouth, bluegill, and lot of catfish. thanks.

I would hit all the deeper points with jigs and worms and dropshot rigs this time of the year. Also fish jigs and pigs out on the points. Locate the creek channel if there is one and fish the areas where it comes in close to the bank. Try this and with a little patience you should be able to get some.

look for the creek and 3 - 7 ft weedy bays
