Default Some topwaters

These things are fun to paint, and I needed to do something during the week, the other (jury is still out on which half is better) half works too late to take advantage of my afternoons off

Anyway, on to the picture

peoples, did you get the the bodies from Jann's? I saw some of your cranks as well, they are just like the ones I got from Jann's, but i'm looking for a different style, just to add some variety. Also (if you haven't already) compare the bodies to Lucky Craft...pay close attention to the scale patterns and the "Y" on the gill plate!

Several other places have pre-made bodies, hagen's is one, Lure Hardware has a few, there's some Canadian outfit that has some too, maybe lure making?

I'm trying to learn how to carve, 1/2 of these don't swim right, but they're great for practice.

I don't think I understand your question?

I paint them myself because I really enjoy making my lures, and it gives me a terrific confidence boost, so that part helps.
