Hey Cranky,
email or pm your address to me and I'll send you some new line to replace what you have on the baitcaster.
Also, if your friends are over 16 they need a license to fish in NJ. Also if that lake is stocked there is a closed peirod even though you are fishing for bass. I think it is the last 2 weeks of March not sure of the date.
I doubt anyone will say anything about the license but I have heard of people having there fishing gear taken by the local authorities. They got it back but had to pay fines.
Looking forward to fishing with you late this year!

Hey Huck, Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it!
No, nonw of my friends in that pic are over 16, so we are fine on that. Yes, the closed period is sometime in March, but the paper that was posted is like half torn off. I will have to check and see if i can find out online. Looking forward to meetin' ya again. Thanks

Cranky,
most of the time a local DNR won't give you the benefit of the doubt for ignorance of the laws, plus readily will issue citations for revenue for the state....so beware, they'll either get you for fishing out of season or slap a trespassing fine on ya..
its like finding pirate treasure and assuming its yours just because the treasure chest lid was already open when you happened upon it...
so BEWARE of hidden dangers when you 'play dumb' of laws, just to get away with it....
