Excellent Stuff! I love drop shotting too and every nugget of good information is a plus.

I do not agree with the part where it says:

[b]Do you Texas rig your baits on the dropshot rig ? and he replies NEVER !

Would shurely like to invite Craig de Fonzo to fish in my everyday lake with an exposed hook and you´ll see him changing his mind pretty soon, don´t T-rig your baits while d-shotting in my everyday lake and you are ready for loosing baits, hooks n´sinkers in an eyeblink all day long.

R bend hooks are excellent for T rigging in the D-shot technique, the shape of the hook allows you to maintain a perfectly horizontal hook while the length and shank of the hook allow you to T-rig the bait ( T-expose ) which saves you not from the spenditure of baits n´hooks but from the fury that causes hanging up all day long.

BTW my everyday lake:

I tend to texas rig my ds baits when fishing grass. thats the only time I do it. I cant argue with success either. 1/0 J bend from gammy is the hook of choice for me.
