Hey Robert! Why not join? It is free and easy to do.

Using a jig-depending on the kind-is a lot like flipping a worm or tube, just a different bait. There are several types. The most popular is probably a jig-n-pig, a lead head with a silicone skirt usually dressed with something like a pork chunk (where the pig comes from), a soft plastic chunk or some other soft plastic. I fish them the same way I do a worm-cast it out and lift/drop with the rod tip or pitch it the same as you do a worm or tube.

The other is a lead head with some type of soft plastic on it-a worm, grub, etc. Hop it, reel it straight it-let the fish tell you what they want.

well i usualy just use jig trailers which is just soft plastic claws from a craw dad. and how to fish it is like fishin a worm but a little more versital.you can drag it on the bottom .hop it on the bottom.swim it over weeds.flip it into cover and just shake it up and down.just remember to try to make it look as lively as possible hope this helps some.
