Canyon Lake...AGAIN???? Yep.
Fished Canyon (with Reb) from about 1030 hrs to dusk on Friday, 5/4/07.
We caught 24, a few were keepers. 16 of them came on those cute little 4" Ringworms, the rest on a variety of soft stuff and spinnerbait(2). Still no topwater action, but should be better soon, especially at first light after a moonless or cloudy night. Will soon be abandoning Canyon (save for possible late night fishing) since school will be out and the lake lice will make it an aquatic Hell. The plan is to fish Boerne (Ber-knee) City Lake for the summer. NO gas engines, 'cept in emergencies...ahhhhhhh, peace and/or quiet. FR |
