New lure, first cast, and a bass
Yesterday, I was fishing and only using a worm. Then, right before I left for the day, I wanted to try a new lure I just bought the day before (a Rapala jointed shad rap). I just wanted to see what kind of wiggle and swimming motion it had.
I casted it out and was reeling it in, and about 5 feet from the bank....Bam! A 2 Lber grabbed it. I was definitely not expecting that and it took me by suprise, but what a rush. I joked to my friend that I was going to retire it right then as a winner! And I still do not know what kind of motion/wiggle it has since it was getting dark and the water was a bit murky, LOL
