Found my new favorite line.
While on vacation last week I tried out a new line for mid and shallow cranks. P-line CX. I was very impressed with the castability and didn't encounter any backlashes. I almost was able to cast without any thumb. I have been using Yo Zuri and a few different fluorocarbons. I had recently tried Seaguar Red Label and it's ok. I don't usually fish around very abrasive cover so the CX held up great. What a pleasure to be able to use
a line that behaves so well.

I went from Yo Zuri Hybrid to CX a few years ago and never looked back. P-Line makes some really good lines.

P-line makes great line! Love CXX and floroclear! Never used CX but hope to soon.

I'll have to try the CX sometime. I really like the Flouroclear. I've been using Suffix Elite for crankbaits the past two years. I wonder how the CX compares?

It's always great to find a line you love as lines can give us A LOT of problems in fishing. P-line does make some good lines. I love Floroclear for what it is - not quite a mono and definitely not a 100% FC; a compromise, leaning more towards mono though IMO. I recently got my first spool of CXX, but haven't really gotten to try it out.

I also use the CXX #12 on my crank and worm rod. And I still have a reel with Evolution #10 for shallow cranks. I am very please with P-Line and don't see anything taking its spot in the near future.
Like you said Bob, I can cast it without almost any thumb. And when it does nest on me, there is never a time consuming process of removing it. And it doesn't kink like some flouros and then you have to worry about a break in the line.

CX and CXX are great lines. Evolution is another one that you should try if you get the chance, it may be my favorite of all the lines in the P-Line lineup.

Voltage has the approximate strength of CXX with the castability of CX/Floroclear. Its a really great line.
