Aluminum bass boats.

What company makes the best 19 ft riding aluminum bass boat ? I fish in lakes under 2000 acres, but am often in 10-20 mph winds. Looking for driest ride and platform stability. Thanks.

Dont own an alum boat but do live where its windy(much more so),dry ride + stable ,stable is a wide flat bottom,drier ride is something akin to a Lund.Dry ride is fiberglass over 20 ft.
Hopefully someone in Wis or UP will answer your question much better.

Any of the "big names" produce a reliable alum. boat. Polar Craft, Lund, Smoker Craft are ones I would consider in a Walleye style boat. They are the boat style that will give you the driest ride. They are certainly stable, as most boats in the 19' length will be, however with the high sides they do tend to blow around in a good wind. Wind socks or anchors would be a good thing to keep on board for those days.

In a bass style alum boat, 19' is a bit longer than most produced. Triton, Alumacraft, even Tracker make them in 18'. They are fairly dry riding, stable and won't blow around as much as the higher sided boats, but all alum. boats are more affected by wind than 'glass - just because of the weight.

G3 makes several center console alum, boats.

Consider the type of fishing you will be doing, and what you will want to carry aboard. Walleye and the G3 boats lack the storage (particularly for rods) than a bass style boat. How much gear you plan on carrying on a regular basis should be part of the consideration.
