Trolling motor conversion?
Hey everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to make a regular minkota trolling motor, into a foot controlled one? Can you buy a new head or something, or have to buy a whole new trolling motor? Thanks for any input guys.

Head, shaft, ect...would all have to be changed, or you could just get one of these, although it doesn't allow you to control speed...http://www.basspro.com/ProControll-T...10214272/85845

Easier to convert a foot control to hand than vice versa, and one can find one fairly reasonable out there,200-300 dollars for a used 52-56 pds thrust foot control unit.
