I have an Airrus Puls R , both made by the same man , Ken Whitting. I have been told that my Airrus is the Carrot stick , just a differant color. I love my Puls R , I use it at least four times more than anyother rod I own.

Airris-r is made of Carbon Fiber, the Carrot stick is made of the (vegetable) Carrot fiber.

I have a carrot stick. I like it for weighted plastics. It was a great addition to my arsenal.

"the Carrot stick is made of the (vegetable) Carrot fiber"
Carpman, I believe the correct nomenclature is "nanofibers". |

Just bought one yesterday. 7'2" spinning model. Nice and light. Will be trying it later today.

Did not you say yours was an airrus-r? If so, then it is made of nano carbon fiber. The carrot stix is made of 70% carrot and 30% graphite with nano levels of cellulose fiber.

They use 4 lbs of carrots to produce the fibers used in a carrot stick rod.
I am holding out for a raspberry stick so I can put a airy red Daiwa pixy reel on it. Ivan |

My orange Diawa Capricorn would go good with one of those Carrot Stix.

PnJ, I have heard a lot about those Pixys. Evidently, they are great finesse/light bait reels. Can you post a pic for the bait monkey?
