Independance day
today is the birthday our our wonderful nation. please if i may ask....take a minute today to HTINK aobut what it took for us to be here, in THIS country, FREE to think, say and do most anything we want.
not political differences gang...we could debate that till the end of time. just take a moment to pray for our service vets, past and present AND future members. THANK THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE AS I AM NOW. THANK OYU FOR OYUR SERVICE AND MY FREEDOM! when you think aobut what it took for our fore fathers to do what they did....it is near impossible to fathom. death was certain ofr probably all of them if they failed. but here we are folks, FREE. thank OUR HEAVENLY FATHER also. for HE gave us these great and strong people the courage to do the things they did and do inorder for us to be able to enjoy the freedom we so enjoy. GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!

Many thanks to all those who came before us, serving and protecting our great nation. The leaders who made the big leap to separate from Britain, bravely facing the dangers involved and tackling the challenges on how to best start and run a new nation. The writing of the documents that also gives our leaders, even today, the guide lines to freedom. The soldiers who payed the great price in our behalf. The families who opened their homes to our soldiers during the revolution, and those families who lost their lives for doing so. To the wives and families who watched their sons and husbands march off to war, never seeing them return. To the citizens who were willing to stand up to the Redcoats. And especially to our heavenly father who looked so favorably down upon the people of this nation, and made it all possible.

X10 to both John and Keith's posts. There cannot be enough thanks given for the blessings we have thanks to our service members, founding fathers and our Heavenly Father.

Please let me preface this by saying I am NOT a Rush Limbaugh fan by anyone's stretch of imagination. I received this link to something written by his father. I am thankful I took the time to read all of it. I hope you will also. I doubt we could find 56 men of such character today!!!
