Default Lake X report/pics 3.25.06

I fished a cool little new body of water for us. There 9 kickboaters including myself. Now realize NOONE had fished this boday of water before. We get ot there to a nice cool mornin of 39 degrees. Water was a chocolate milk color. Whithin 1/2 hr of being on the water the wind justs starts whipping around. Gusts up to 30. We got blown all around. But when the wind wasnt beating dwn on us it was nice and we got cold RAIN. Weather/Water conditons aside we are all really excited to fish this nice lookin lake. So we were on the water at 7 and weigh-in at 2. Around 10:30 the bite just turned on for nice size fish. I Caught a 7.13, 5.7 and a 4.2. I saw other guys around me just smacking 3s,4,5s. It was incredible. We had a great time on the water. Over all everyone got fish and they averaged 3+lbs or better. Winning Weight was 18+ I had 15 or so for 3 fish.

In the second picture that is the kickboat from the Kickboat episode on Basstech. The guy who owns it is named Rich Caro. Thought you guys might like that....

Anyways I took 2nd Place in the Official Lake X Tshoot. I also won BIG fish!!!!! Nt bad walked with a couple extra bucks and new place to fish!!!

Great looking fish. Nice to see Hennesy (sp) is kicking out some great fish. There is a really great smallmouth population there as well.

They can be purchased for about $300 on sale, and upwards to $700 to 900 and possibly more.

Deacon what method do you use most often in the kick boat? Do you mix it up or use one or two ways to fish?

Basskicker...those boats on averagecost between 250-350. Depends on what you wanna spend. They have some boats that are closer to the 1000.00 range. All depends what you want it to do for you.

BassinBob...not sure the question you asked...I think what technique I use most? What method of? If you could explain what you were asking Id be happy to reply.
