Default Whats his name?

I'm sure you all of heard stories about people searching for a large fish that they have caught and than lost before landing. Heck most even have names for the fish. They know more about the fish than they do about thier nieghbors!
So is anyone here involved in any such hunts or know someone who is?

Lolla is her name. The funny thing is that I am convinced she is around me no matter which end of the lake I am fishing or even what lake I am fishing for that matter, I am always begging for her to bite..........and usually the closer to weigh-in it is the more I ask for her to show her face lol.

I think you're right. But my Miss Piggy is the queen of all my dreams, some people dream of winning the lottery or finding a sack of cash sitting by the road, I prefer to keep my dreams a little closer to the ground. She's the reason I make my first cast before most humans have even rolled over, the reason my hooks are sharp enough to make a surgeon jealous, the reason I won't hesitate to turn off everything and push-pole for an hour to boldly go where no man has gone before etc etc etc> sometimes I call her Holly Hog sometimes Sally Sow>other times Betty Bovine

If it fits ,I like shallow as well
If I recall it was a tom manns bait small with ridge back(the crankbait) LUHR JENSEN also had a color named that in the speed trap.
I saw my dream she came out backwards as was in tight quarters american lotus, and as soon as her head appeared she went one way the frog the other.Shes 10+
