Lake Monticello Tx
Cabin fever has set in once again and Im going to take a trip to lake monticello in texas after my first therapeutics test. Has anyone fished it before? Any tips, description of the lake (clear/muddy , deep/shallow) and any other info would be appreciated. I'd gladly trade some good info for a trip to my honeyholes near memphis if anyone's interested.
Thanks Adam C. Jones |

Dear AdamChaseJones,
There is this amazing thing called a SEARCH function. Look what I found by simply typing in...Lake Monticello TX...(wtihout the dots!) and hitting "Go" or "Search". Whatta concept! http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/fishboat...es/monticello/ http://www.mapcard.com/purchase/lake...asp?stateID=TX You might also try a search in Texas Bass Clubs or similar terms. Sooner or later, you'll find the site of a club that fishes Monticello regularly. There may be a contact provided. FlyRod PS: AdamChaseJones Did AdamCatchJones Sounds kinky to me . I haven't heard much about Monticello in years. It was THE big bass lake in Texas some 20-odd years ago, before Fork hit the big time. If I remember correctly it is a small powerplant lake, but that is about all I can recall.
Welcome to the forum, BTW!
