I've never used this particular bait, but it's basically a typical beaver style bait. It should work well as most beaver baits do. There are several ways to fish beaver baits. My favorite is to t-rig it with a 3/0 offset worm hook, and peg a 1/2 oz. tungstin bullet weight to the hook. Then pitch or flip it into heavy weed cover. Let it settle to the bottom and work a little magic with your rod tip, then hang on.

the hyper lineup from lake fork tackle really looks good. this bait kinda reminds me of a gambler ugly otter.

Looks like an otter rip off. Of course the otter came out just after the beaver back in 02-03. Both work well T-rigged in grass, wood, rock, etc.
