Default Duckett Senko style rod

I've seen where Duckett doesn't mention a stick or senko style rod, but do any of you throw that on one and if so what length/action.

I personally throw senkos on a 7'3" MH F rod rated for 1/4-3/4oz lures. Something similar to that should work fine. Don't stress too much over what manufacturers put on their technique specific rods. It's a good place to start, but you're definitely not limited to what's listed.

Very good choice of rod. A 7 footer would work well too. I have to ^5 BB on his comment about not stressing over a rod makers techniques specific rods. Like he said, it's a good starting point but and technique specific rod and be very versatile. For instance, I have a 6'6" MH/F topwater specific rod that also works very well for other uses such as spinnerbaits, flukes, crankbaits, ect. Maybe it's not the ideal rod for those other lures, but it works!

I use a 7' Fish Eagle 2 and a 7' Mojo for Senko's. Both are MH. I've also used 6' 6" MH Lew's speed stick which works awesome on Senko's. Don't like using much lighter rods for sticks.
