Default Well, it happened

I was fishing the local pond and I mean like 20 minutes ago and I caught a HUGE bass and me line was zipping out and I finally get it to shore and it bend my hook STRAIGHT and it came right out at the shore so I LEAPED for it because half of it was still in the water and right then it did their hoping around spaz attack and got back in the water and I would say that thing was at LEAST 8 pounds. But likely I now know where it is and what to use for it muhaaa (evil laugh)LOL.

WTG, now you know where she is. Knowing the fish are there, and that you did hook it gives you more confidence. You live in Florida so there will be other bigguns for you. Next time lip the bass as soon as you can, this will keep them from being half on/off of shore. Losing fish is part of life for fisherman, so keep your head up, and go get her again. Congrats on hooking into the hawg. I bet your heart was pounding and adrenaline was flowing.

Think about it like this. Even if you did lose the fish, you now know that shes in there, and how to catch her. This will also give you more confidence,a nd you will want to go fishing more, and therefore, have a better chance, of catching more, and bigger fish.
