Scott aka "Gunny" was at C.A.S.T. for Kids event at Leesylvania St Park on Sat. He was helping a group of us loading kids and parents into the boats, launching boats, and pulling boats out as well. We got to talking and I realized who he was. It also helped that he had "Gunny" on his name tag. He's been around the site but hasn't posted much lately. Been busy working with one of the local guides.
Even though the river was flooded from the recent rains most everyone caught fish. Some real nice catfish were caught with one boat bringing in about a dozen 2lb blue cats. Not bad for 2 hours of fishing with the conditions.

Scott Favors (aka Gunny) is a first class individual, have known him for years and am proud to say I call him a friend. Actually I call him shorty, he calls me Herman (Munster). He is probably the best tournament PRE-FISHER I've ever known, and if you run into him again you can tell him I said so - I remind him whenever we see each other. He is a good promoter of the sport of bass fishing as evidenced by his participation in this event, as well as many others. He also deep fries a mean turkey!!

Dave was a pleasure meeting and talking with you!! That was a great event, one especially close to my heart as I have a son with special needs.

Herman a.k.a. Bassboogieman, I didn't know you were on here, maybe that's why I haven't been for awhile!! LOL Really though Bruce and I are great friends, you just couldn't tell it when we are together!! And he's right I do fry a pretty mean yard bird!
