my guitar
well, i finally mustered up enough money to buy myself a guitar. its a martin dcx1e with fishman classic sonicore pickup. its got a cutaway, solid sitka "bear claw" spruce top (unfinished)....its amazing. the tone is sweet for the price i paid. it was about....$700. a nice guitar! anyone else play the guitar here?

I looked at the Martins,I went to Nazareth, Pennsylvania to the Martin guitar factory where your guitar was made.I ended up waiting & buying a Fender DG22S acoustic that has the Maple back and sides. My uncles were a little upset when I didn't buy a Martin, but I really liked the Fender better. It plays so easy and sounds great.Did you get the laminated neck on your Martin ?Being electric you must have the cutaway model ?It was difficult not to buy a Martin from the factory, if I didn't already play the fender I finally bought, I would have bought the D-16 GT model. DiscGolfer, I should have mentioned that you did buy a very nice guitar. It should last you a lifetime, not a bad price for the amount of time you use it.That is if your not fishing instead. P N J

One of my guitar friends kept on yelling at me all summer because all I did was fish. At least I have my priorities straight.
