Go to www.tackleunderground.com

It is a great place to ask questions.

I've tied my first few jigs just about a month ago but without instruction. If anything, learn to tie the whil finish knot (you DO NOT need to have a tool for it) and you'll be ready. Basically it invloves holding whatever material you wish to use (eg, bucktail har) along the jig's hook shank with one hand and wrapping the tying thread with the other. Then you finish it off with the Whip Finish knot.

A quick search on google will probably get you good hits for jig tying and the whip finish knot. Good luck!

I've been tying hair jigs and also have done some with the silicone skirts. Just wondering if there is an advanced website sharing ideas both on techniques and materials. Thanks.
