Default Vanish flourocarbon keeps breaking.

Last week I spooled on of my spinning rods with 10 lb vanish like I have been doing for the past 3 years. Yesterday when I was fishing, the first fish I set the hook on with that rod the line snaped. I didn't think much of it, retied and continued to fish. The next bite I got I set the hook and again, broke!! I've been using Berkley vanish for 3 years now with our any problems and now this. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this??
