I haven't, Dodge-I've been so pleased with the performance of PowerPro I haven't seen the need.

Dodge, I spooled up with the sufix braid last night, went fishing today and all I can say is it sucks. The fishing that is. The Sufix braid worked great, I boated 2 Northern Pike , but that is all I could find that would bite today.I got thinking about Rebbassers hunch post and I had a hunch the bass might be in the creeks so I fished it.I am about 2-3 weeks early yet before the bass come in, but what the heck, I love fishing in the rain. To answer your question, in my opinion, the sufix braid does not have any advantage over any other braided line. Its all a preference thing for the people who use it and its a marketing target thing. I would prefer to use all of one brand, therefore I bought it because I am going to strictly use Sufix siege mono this year. Sufix siege worked very well for me last year.P N J

I will have to agree with Reb, after trying spider wires braid and stren braid and so on. I see no reason to use anything other than the trusty Power Pro.If it aint broke.....................you know the rest.

Dodge, For the record, I don't like power pro compared to other braided lines. The reason is the ripping noise it makes as the line runs through the guides and it binds in the spool like a S.O.B., and it seems too limp and it seems to wrap around the rodtip easier than other braided lines I have used. The other thing people might not like that doesn't matter to me is it turns white Quicker than any other brand I have used. The stren superbraid bled on me. The color bled on my shirt sleeve and hands while I handled the line changing trailers and jigs while fishing it. That could be the smelly jelly scent that I gob on the jig & trailer that made that happen. When all said and done though, Power pro boats fish like every other braid minus the minor things I mentioned.I would recommend it to anyone, I just personally like Tuf Line XP, P Line spectra IVbetter, but I am going to try this sufix and Ande also made a braided line which I will try once I locate some to try.For those of you who have Ande braid in your area. I wil trade the first person to instant message me 2 spools of 30 lb Power pro for 1 spool of Ande braid. P N J

Have you tried Fireline It's a Awesome Fused line, I use it and Pwowerpro interchangealby Usually prefer Fireline on spinning, and Powerpro on Baitcasters.

Only if you want a great line LOL. But be careful, this stuff is super tuff, and will cut right through you're finger 20 lb test has a 8 lb mono diameter.
