Latimer's Ponds 6-10-08

well most pond here seem to have non biting fish or leased by hunting clubs.. thinking about joining the club behind my house..

so we (anthony[lazycricket000] and i)decided to hit up latimers off a split second decision to not go to football weightlifting

we went where the guy said he catches the off of purple worms.. and got in about 7 which was wayy to late and started with a pop-r.. threw it about 5 times.. and

took it.. i yanked it almost out his mouth and it was caught in his gills..

but he was in the boat.. then anthony was still caught up on his gamber worms but as soon as i got that one anthony switched to a popper and got this

then about 20 mins later

all off poppers.. so that was about 8:15 and we fished till 9:30 and left

As a football coach I hate to say it but I have to.... You blew off lifting for fishing!

Don't complain about the coach when you don't play as much as you think you should...

By the way, I would blow off lifting too fish too, if I thought I could get away with it!!!!!

great job!!! nothing like top water fishing huh? i can see ya'll had a good time cause of the smiles. now if ya'll can catch dem hawgmollies, you can combine weightlifting and fishing...right coach?

You can lift weights at night. Fish the pond in the day. Or opposite. Doing both is good. Of course I'm a hypocrite, need to hit the wieghts myself - I've missed my workouts since before the get together.

Why is there no belly hook on that white popper?

i lost it on catching that big fish.. it got caught in his mouth and when i took the hook out it came off.. the little ring came off. i replaced it yesterday

they were the originals... i replaced the front one.. i wonder if you take a rooster tail will it do the same effect to the back.. w/o the spinner
