New pb !!!!!!!!!

So i went fishin on Santee Cooper this weekend (lake moultrie and marion connected by a diversion canal).... Friday was a practice day.... Saturday (today) was out tourney for FOM.... we ended up with 2 fish... rough day for a tourney.... we caught both fish late

BUT i did catch a new pb with about two hours to go on a blue and chrome rattle-trap (what other color do you need)

here is a pic... look at the weight in the background (7.74) 7lbs and 12 ounces... we ended up with 10.43 or somethin around there
(ill get a pic of the fish when i get the email from one of the helpers at the weigh in)

thats what we talkin about..... woohhhhh.... the man on the left is the national president of FOM... i think his name is Al Lidner or somethin... other guy is our divisions leader Bobby Jackson... that is me the midget standin on the right.... yeah im 5' 1

dont listen to swimbaitkid about me bein an shorter than that

no the fish that guy is holdin is the one my dad caught... he just weighin mine..

ill have my weekend report on here and on the lake report later.....

great job aiken, great job. so....did ya out fish ol pop? more importantly...did you have a good time? and congrats on your catches. good to put a face (somewhat) with the name pal.

and don't worry about your height ok...look, i have a nephew on lisa's side that was only like 5'5" at the age of 17, now at 25 he is over 6'0". he grew almost a foot in 1 year. i am only 6'1". and my best friend all through school was only 5'5". height doesn't make you a man, brains and thoughtfullness and kindness makes you a man. be proud of yourself as you are. i have never met you and i like you JUST as you are. you really seem like a great guy, keep it up ok? and keep up your grades in school. education will carry you farther than height ever will. remember...brains over brawn.

Way to go AYG. Did you get the lunker for the tourney? I see one on there, but I can't tell if it is a 9.5 or 4.5. Anyways, still an awesome catch, you keep burnin' them up.

to all the questions: i did have fun... i did outfish my dad for weight but its a team tourney.... um when we left weigh in and the lead was 31.66 and a couple other 31 lb bags..... no i didnt even come close to big fish..... i think 8.5 was leadin when i left....

going into the tournament my dad and i only had about 15 hours on the lake..... so we were happy.... we went for prespawners and the cold fron hurt us.... but some of the experienced guys and locals knew where to get out of the wind and had marked big fish on bed..... they won.... ill know he weight and have the picture of me holdin it when the people post the weight and pictures on the internet

yeah MRphoto talin crapp.... me on a brand new lake... you on a pond.... real suprise.....

when its posted it will be on the Fishers of Men National Torunament Trail site....

if you go to google and type FOM the second site will be it.... its not on right now

When i caught that fish we were surrounded by 10 boats..... both my dad and i went a little IKE .... screamin "WOOOOH, thats what im talkin about, Thats gonna help us"

you know that kind of stuff...... Hey mrphoto..... i got a pond now that i have access to that when they get on bed 10 lbs is gonna be my new PB..... im feelin it

ill get the pic tonight and post it..... we ended up in 25th place and i had the 6th biggest bass

25 out of 63... we also were the highest jumior adult finishers which suprised me

haha but were like the same age..

well i turn 17 in june.. so i guess not..

but i was stuck at 5'2" for a couple a years.. then between 9th and 10th grade i grew about 5 or 6" and gained 35 lbs

no i didnt get any mesurments b/c we were in a tournament... so we put her in the livewell and went back fishin.... then after i weighed her i released her.... a good ending to a great story

His dad let Aikenyounggun reel it in and he is shorter and 5ft, I'll give him 4 1/2ft, adn thats not Al Lidner(unless there is another one, because the Al I know is on TV, and is older)
