Default A couple of trim questions

First I would like to say I think this site is the sh.....

I have recently purchased a 1983, 17.5 Hydrasport x-270 with a Rude 150, loaded and It is alot of fun.

I'am attempting to install a trim switch in the bow by the TM plug. When I received the boat, this was the only thing missing. The switch is there but it has no wires connected to it. I have ran the wires but, have not made any connection until I'am sure I have them correct. It DOES have the trim located in the throttle control. It does work.

Where is the best place to make the connection for the trim? At the selenoid I asume?

If that is the case, where is that located on the engine?
(83' rude 150)

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not exact on the selinoid location and don't want to mess anything up.

question #2: How do I safely connect a second fishfinder to the electrical system?
--------
As long as I'am on the water, Im gooood!

Follow the wires from the trim on the control box same place, most likly the solenoid.
I have one for the bow,one on the wheel, one on the control box and one near the motor to assist in putting a motor toter on.
As for another fish finder you can run two new wires or reuse some in the panel already there so long as you dont over load whats there I generally place a small fuse holder in line as well.
Most boats are designed to have addons added.
