well it's the end of an era.
britney is finally letting go of her 99' trans am. with the baby on the way an suv makes a lot more sense, plus i won't have to drive all over the place taking her to work and picking her up whenever it snows now. we are heading over in a minute to pick up her new truck. she found an 2008 nissan pathfinder that she just can't live without. her car was paid off and they gave is a good enough deal that we are gonna write a check for the pathfinder so we aren't gonna pick up another payment. i never thought she would let her car go, she had it when we started dating and really loves the car. in fact when we got the title to it she bawled for an hour because she knew that one day she would have to get rid of the car. i have to admit, even though i am a 4wd truck guy i really did enjoy driving that car. that thing would flat out fly, scared the hell out of me a few times but it is one of the last solid built sports cars and that is coming from a guy who hates gm.
now the confusing part. we were about to make a huge last payment on my truck and get rid of the payments on it as well. however after talking with a toyota dealer about a new tundra (i have been wanting a tundra for a few years now) he has me on the ropes. he "promised" that they will payoff my truck and if i put that money on the tundra instead of paying off my truck then he could get me in a brand new loaded tundra for about half the monthly payments i was making on my truck. i have no idea what any of the details are because at first i wasn't interested, all i could think about was being out from under a truck payment. now i am starting to consider it depending on the length of payments and interest. i mean a full warranty and a truck with no miles on it sure would be great, my truck will roll over 100,000 miles within the next couple years. kevin you can move this to nonfishing related, sorry about posting here.
