Kunnan rods
Does anybody have any experience with Kunnan rods? I have to confess I'm not familiar with them, but I found a store in my area that has some a few days ago. I bought an IM7 spinning rod but I'm curious what y'all can tell me about them.

I had a flipping stick years ago that was a kunnan. I looked it up, and thought I recalled finding they went out of business, but this is a pretty old, fuzzy impression.

The real question is, did I get a good buy for $28? The rod is new, it still had its tags.

uh
Very few rods can one purchase for $28 dollars nowdays, and one gets what one pays for generally.
The flipping stick of yesteryear weighs twice as much as todays version, thus broom handles cost less than fencing foils. Check out ebay they are bringing twice that, and if it does what one wants, then its a very good buy. You be the judge if you like buy several more. Being a rather obscure rod maker doubt if many could compare or give a report. |

I had a couple offshore rods, haven't seen any of their freshwater rods. I also believed they had gone out of business several years ago.

For those who had their rods, how were they? Good, bad, ugly?

I can tell you the truth, which might make you put the rod in the closet, or I can tell you a lie, and you might treasure the rod and put it to good use.

I'll just move on then, and use it for now but not depend on it as my primary rod.
