Default energy?

our club has a night tournament coming up this month that is gonna be from 12 am to 12 pm. It will be tiring enough just fishin it, but to top it off, i have to work before the tournament, so im gonna be up early the morning before and wont get much sleep before i have to leave.

i was wondering if any of you guys know of any energy drinks that actually WORK or other LEGAL ways i can get energy. lol

thanks,

-spro

thanks jim...does the 5 hour energy stuff make u crash when the energy goes away? that is the main thing i am worried abt with the energy drinks.

well i dont drink coffee, and im looking to have energy for the 12 hours of fishing....not the 30 minute ride home. lol

X2 on the 5 hour energy, they work without a crash. There are other energy drinks you can find at your local GNC that are stronger and last longer without a crash, but make sure you drink water or you'll have to make a few trips off the lake to go to the bathroom.

that aint got nothing to do with it SBK...apparently you dont have a job where you have to get up early and work all day before tournaments. i am going to fish it, but i would like to have enough energy to make it to weigh in.

midnight to noon is a long time.

I use the 5 hour energy shots, I work nite shifts and it helps some. It perks you up a bit, but its no substitute for sleep.

I would imagine if the 5 hour shots work for me, they will wok better for yall as my caffiene tolerance has become massive after drinking 5 liters of dr pepper a day for the past 10 years.

If you don't have high tolerance to caffiene , you will be bouncing of the wall I drink about 15 ta 20 cups of coffee a day and they take the edge off if i am really tired .

Agreed. I was so tired by the time I got home, I dreaded walking up the steps to the deck.
The morning started out bad right off the get go. Go to a house job on Green Lake. What do I see? 2 guys cruisin the lake fishing!
The homeowner says they hold bass tourneys on the lake. Interesting....

hahaha.also DO THE DEW MAN. LOTS of caffeine in those. i think mountain dew has the most caffiene than any other soft drink. but i have been wrong so many times before.

they got pepsi max with extra caffiene, how about mountain dew max! lol

I've heard good things about the 5 hour energy. Stay away from drinks like Full Throttle, Monster, etc. those will give you a big crash.

I used to be just like that when I was your age, bud. There's a good chance it's why I'm so tired now...just catchin up on 30 years of lost sleep.

I have a much larger issue of getting to sleep before an important day of fishing. Most of the time I just cant sleep. So I end up with 2-3 poor hours of psuedo sleep.

Do like I do...get 3-4 hours of sleep every night. Then, I promise you will have no problem getting to bed 4 hours before you leave for your 18 hour fishing trip.

I hate complaining about fishing...but man...I would like just once to get out on the lake not feeling exhausted.

I remember being young, and having almost zero responsibilities...man...that was nice. I think if I had kids to watch, I'd never get to fish at all. My hats off to those of you with kids who manage to scratch out a few hours here and there.
