If you were going to sell an antique car, how would you do it?
I'm trying to sell my Grandfathers old 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Tried Ebay but it didn't work. What are some other good classified/sites or anything that I can use to try and sell this thing? Take it to car shows?

Ah 69 caddy. I had a 69 caddy convertible. Paid $75 for it. Had it for about 4 years. Parked it and it rusted away. I'm with Zooker. Try Craiglist also.

Which engine? Might try racingjunk.com. Always people looking for big inch motors there.

A 2 door fleetwood? Didnt know they existed, or why they would exist. This thing might be larger than a ford exursion, and I know its heavier.
Its definitly not a heap of junk that you pull the engine out of. It has a 472 big block and everything is in great shape.

yeah brother love fleetwood and eldorodo 's both had a 2 door model.between 68-71 anyways..
that is pristinely sweet ride -just two many doors- can you imagine seeing the look on a car mural painters face when told to "knock himself out" the fleetwood takes up like 5 acres most of it flat metal.. i have driven these cars. SWEET!! your right they are VERY heavy most are 7500-8000 pounds.. zooker

Just put a large sticker on it saying, "Wicked old but cool car! Buy it, or else!"
If chaps still refuse to buy it, threaten to blackmail them. Works every time. |

Pretty good, was swamped with schoolwork and social life for some time but have some spare time now.
What's been up with you lately? |

I'd try car shows. That's where we are going to sell our '65 Mustang conv when we finish restoring it.
