Like any spinnerbait one buys, buzzbaits also need a lil tlc bend the shaft a bit or to suit.
If you seldom run a spinnerbait out the pkg, without bending etc why a buzzbait, why expect it to preform when a spinnerbait wouldnt. Crimping the rivet will make it squeel more, bending angle creates a different angle of attack, less streamlined or more. And if you are using a slow reel get a faster one makes it much easier 6/2/1 6/3/1. As for the $1 wally worlds slight bend in angle of blade wire makes it so much easier to run, most of mine are more expensive but pays to have cheap ones when 30 pd gar are spawning with the bass.Think I have 2 left but rest are mixed bag of quite more expensive that do run better. One last thought while a bead may at times be easier to keep one up,it makes no noise. I replace my rivets with those ss ones from a pop rivet gun. |
