another trolling motor Q
I'm planning on getting a trolling motor for my canoe pretty soon. I know that you can take a saltwater trolling motor in freshwater, but can you use a freshwater trolling motor in saltwater? I'm going down to Key Largo in January and we're trailering my canoe, so I'd like to find out.

I don't know, Hula-you might check with Motorguide or Minn Kota. Just go to their website and find the "contact us" link. I kind of doubt they would recommend it.
