Default New line of Kistler rods on North Fork blanks

These new Kistler KLX rods sound really good. They are 100% American made, use North Fork Composite blanks and feature good components and micro guides. They have models to cover all applications and they are also reasonably priced. The only draw back seems to be that they can only be purchased from Kistler. In order to keep costs down, they aren't going to sell them in any retail stores or online dealers.

Looks like they have done a good job of covering the basics, and some not so basic. I've been looking for a quality 7' baitcaster in a ML mod-fast.

KLX-CRT70ML
MOD-FAST

1/16-3/8
6-12
$159.95

I have had a much better hook-up ratio this year on buzzbaits and frogs after switching to a softer rod with a slower tip. Baitcasters with those specs are hard to find. Thanks

Old habits die hard. If you are familiar with Kistler history then you know what I mean.
