Bass fishing Rockford Ill.

Is anyone here in that area, can you point me to some good bass fishing in that area. I'll be limited to shore/dock/bank fishing. I'm moving up that way in several weeks. Thanks for any info. you can impart to me.

E-mail me when you get settled,I live Wsconsin, Illinois border. There's a state park, Rock River and some great ponds.
It's not Mo. but can be very exciting around Rockford.
Non-resident licsenses are fairly inexpensive so it's easy to fish both states. Your like 25 miles from border, but it's interstate Higway so like 15 minute drive from Rockford. Alot of small communities surrond Rockford. You can actually fish the Rock River right smack in the downtown area from shore. Mid West City Limits!
I may enjoy exploring the opportunities in Il.
I do alot of work in Rockford and know a few sportsmen from that area.
I would enjoy exploring with you.
Unfortunatly I too am shorebusting currently and always enjoy company!
Let me know, if you prefer fishing alone (many do) I will still share what I can to help you get a start because than I can pick your brain.

Thanks Joedog, I will, provided I can set up an e-mail account when I get up there. I'll be moving up there the 6th of Feb. I like fishing, period, alone or not. Unfortunately I'm shore bound as well. I have plenty of boating and shorefishing exp. either way. Your more than welcome to pick my brain all you like as I am currently not using it.

. I'm sure we can both learn a few things from one another. I shouldn't have a problem setting up an e-mail account but one never knows. Any way if I do I'll private message you from here. Looking forward to the new surroundings and opprotunities.
