I know you all have seen or heard about these but....
...has anyone ever actually used one?
If so: What do you think? What did you catch? Do you still use? If not: Why? Just joking! Seriously, whats your thoughts? Would you reconsider at $4.00.....I saw them at $4. Chartuese, Red Black (red craw)and Gold Black. http://squirtbait.com/ For those of you not fishing, I'm thinking of getting out this afternoon (maybe), have a great day! Ok, those who are fishing have a great night! (just assuming it's night now while your reading this....what did you catch?)

I've usually found that when I see "As Seen On TV" branding, it's garbage. There have been a few exceptions though... I love the Alex Langer Flying Lure, I've caught tons of fish on the 2" size (including my PB spotted bass), and my wife is a big fan of the PedEgg and a couple others. You just never know 'til you try it.

Fisherman and fish across the country know that a baitfish suffering from diarhea or a fatal arterial bleed is easy pickings, finally a bait that makes sense...put me down for 10
Don't let he big one ever get away again!<< Quote from the ad copy! I never could assign much credibility to a co. that wouldn't throw a couple of bucks at a proof reader.

Haha! Yep, I actually saw cans of Flex Seal in a store the other day. Almost bought a can just to disprove their claims

I've seen some lures that worked and others that did not, I think a LOT of it depends on specific circumstances. Each lure has a very specific time and place where it will work, otherwise it is useless.
One example is that Doug Hannon (however its spelled) overpriced snake lure. I was at a lake where I have seen bass go after small snakes in the water, in that case, those snakes worked GREAT! The other 99% of lakes I've tried with it, it hasn't caught anything other than weeds. I actually picked up a 5 pack for cheap on fleabay when someone bought it and couldn't make it work for their fishing. Last edited by screwballl; 01-31-12 at 02:45 PM. |
