Lure question
If you had to go fishing with only one rod during the spawn and could only use one lure what would that one lure be, mine would be a tube, fish seem to like it during this time of year and dont want it near there beds

I like the 6" lizards with a 1/16 or 1/8 buillet when I find a bed. I got a dime on a donut Mr. Photog says a finesse worm.

Floating lizzard - I like a bit heavier, unpegged weight like 3/8 and get the weight near the side of the bed, give a little slack and play the bait up and down in the bed.

I always bed fish with a white V&M Punch Craw, 1/8 oz weight held in place with a sinker stopper. I keep dye handy to change the color of the claws. It has worked every where I have tried it.
I use white because it is more important that I can see it, the fish will be able to see it since I'm putting it right in front or on top of them. |

For me it would be a fat IKA rigged backwards on an exposed 5/0 EWG hook. They just can't pick it up with out getting the hook in their mouths.
