First bass of the trip !
I caught my first bass of our visit this morning. Using a 7" black trick worm. I got the tug tug, so excited, let him run a little and struck. Wow. Could feel him there but in the weeds. After a lot of tugging I got him out and a large bunch of hydrilla he was buried in.
Clearing the hydrilla I discovered he was all of 6" long. The worm was longer than him. lol's Doreen says size does count and a bit bigger would have been better
